How do I order?
Simply go to the “Buy Soap Nuts” page. Choose the weight and quantity you’d prefer and click on “Add to Cart”.

How do I Checkout?
From the shopping basket, you can choose whether to pay with your debit or credit card via Google Checkout or to pay with cheque or postal order. You will be directed to the secure Google Checkout page from the shopping basket.

I don’t want to pay online. Do you accept cheques?
We certainly do, as well as Postal Orders. Simply choose the Cheque or Postal Order payment option in the shopping basket.
Please note: Cheque payments will incur a delivery delay of up to seven days to allow for cheque clearance. Postal Orders will be treated as cash and deliveries will go out immediately.

How long will I have to wait for my purchase?
Orders received (Mon-Fri) are shipped the next day.
(Wherever possible, orders received by 12 noon (Mon-Fri) are shipped the same day.)
Customers are kept informed of the status of their orders.
We use Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard Delivery.
Orders of 4k and above are shipped using TNT overnight couriers with Next Day Delivery (Scottish Isles may take a little longer), or DHL 2-4 day delivery service depending on size of order and stock levels at our two warehouses.
We offer free delivery to addresses within the UK mainland. If you live outside the UK mainland, please Contact Us for a shipping quote.
Please note that deliveries of Soap Nuts paid for with cheques may incur a delay of up to seven days to allow for clearance of cheque.
Reluctantly, we are now shipping only to addresses within Europe due to stringent export restrictions imposed on shipments outside the EU, particularly to US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Do Soapnuts have a “Shelf Life”?
We generally accept a delivery of Soap Nuts from India every 6-8 weeks, so our product is not in storage for long periods of time. Our customers are safe in the knowledge that Simply Soap Nuts are as fresh as possible. If kept dry, Soap Nuts will remain fresh for very long periods of time. It is difficult to be accurate, but one of our customers reported that she found a pack in the back of a cupboard that had been there for at least nine months! She commented that although the nuts looked a little dry, they contained as much soap as a new batch and performed as effectively.

How do I store Soapnuts?
Most people keep their laundry products “under the sink”! Should your Soap Nuts become damp, they will simply become sticky. They will be just as effective. Simply Soap Nuts are packed in grip seal bags that have initially been permanently sealed above the grip. Simply cut the top off above the grip and you have a handy re-sealable bag.

How many washes can I get from a 500g pack of Simply Soap Nuts?
You should get anything up to 100 washes from one 500g pack. You may get less, you could more. Normally you would expect to pay more for something “natural” and that has had all the chemicals left out or removed! Well, here is something absolutely pure for less than half the price of chemical detergents. Do I take the Soapnuts out of the washing machine before the rinse cycle?
Amazingly, no! Soap Nuts release pure soap (Saponin) in warm water. The hotter the water, the more soap is released. In cold water rinses, Soap Nuts will release hardly any soap at all. All washing detergents will leave a residue on your clothing. This is why people with sensitive skin suffer so badly from the chemicals, bleaches and optical brighteners in modern detergents. Rest assured - if anything IS left on your clothing - it’ll be just pure soap!

I am allergic to laundry detergent. Can I use Simply Soap Nuts?
Soap Nuts are not detergents. They release pure soap. Many people who cannot tolerate the chemicals in modern detergents find they can happily use Soap Nuts.

How are Simply Soap Nuts packed?
Simply Soap Nuts are packaged in re-sealable grip seal bags. The bags are initially permanently sealed above the grip to ensure the Nut Shells arrive super-fresh. Just cut the top off the bag above the grip and you have a handy re-sealable bag to keep the Nut Shells fresh.

We thought long and hard about packaging and experimented with several eco-friendly paper and card-based alternatives to polythene. However, since Nut Shells are better stored in dry conditions, we had no alternative. Simply Soap Nuts come in waterproof jackets!

We don’t distribute Simply Soap Nuts via any third party wholesaler. This allows us to deal directly with retailers, offering them sensible wholesale prices.
